DFW Portraits for Heroes – 2023 Details

A special thank you to our local first responders and military personnel.

I am honored to be hosting family portrait sessions in partnership with Dallas Fort Worth Portraits for Heroes this year! This event offers a complimentary photo session and 5 high resolution images suitable for printing (valued at $495) for our local heroes. This event was founded in memory of our 9/11 heroes. On that day in 2001, our heroes never hesitated. There was so much unknown but their goal was clear. Save as many lives as possible. Now, these same heroes continue their contributions to our community. They face new challenges each day but still will not hesitate to protect those in need. This event is our way to give back to our local heroes. We thank you, support you, and appreciate your contributions to our communities. To qualify for this offer you must be one of the following:

• Police
• Firefighter
• Military (Active, Reserve, Veteran, Retiree)
• First Responder

These sessions are at no cost to you and there are photographers (including myself) across the DFW metroplex who are participating to offer you these sessions. We try to cover more areas to ensure you have an option near you. You can view a list of participating photographers here.

These sessions are for couples or immediate family only. We do not offer speciality sessions or extended family sessions with this event, however, we do offer other types of sessions year round. You can view year-round family portrait details here.

This year my sessions will be held near Richardson, TX and will be on Sunday, September 10th; Thursday, September 14th; and Saturday, September 16th. Sessions last around 15 minutes and will be either in the morning closer to sunrise or early evening before the sunset. Booking often fills up so please only book if you are sure you can make the time since there are limited spots. The complimentary session includes choice of 5 images via digital download. Additional images are available for purchase (this is not required), at $50 per image or $250 for full gallery upgrade if you choose.

A few key details

• Do not wait to book. Times fill up quickly.
• You may only book one time with one photographer.
• No other types of sessions offered for this event.
• Please be considerate and only book if you can keep the appointment.
• No late arrivals allowed.
• No show clients will not be allowed to book again.
• Hero must be present for the session.
